In 2027, the 9 Purple Fire Star sits in the center of the year chart. The 5 Yellow Earth Star moves to North (Kan).
This page is for the 5 Yellow Earth Star in 2027. You move into the north palace (Kan), so it may be a year with less going on outside, when it's easier to grow what's inside.
Outer flow
The Nine Star Ki palace your star moves to in the 2027 year chart: North (Kan)
Preparing and Learning
In 2027, your birth star moves into the north palace (Kan) of this year's Nine Star chart. Outward activity is quieter, and this is a year to grow from the inside.
That leaves you more room to study and sharpen your skills. What you prepare now becomes the starting capital for when you move next.
Things to try
- Start studying something you've long been curious about, beginning with once a week.
- Make time for a slow one-on-one talk with someone you trust.
- Put your rest time in your schedule first.
Watch out for
It's okay if results don't show right away. Keeping a record of what you did will show your progress.
At work
Rather than expanding big on something new, you may find it easier to make time to learn and sharpen your skills. Studying for a qualification, reviewing how you do your work and making plans for the future suit this year, because they work as preparation that pays off later. It's fine if results don't show right away. If you keep a record of what you do, you can see your own progress.
In relationships
It's a year that suits slow conversations one on one with someone you trust more than wide socializing. For advice, too, choose someone who will listen carefully and you'll feel at ease. With family, put time for a calm talk into your schedule first. Write your rest time into your calendar first, too.

FAQ
Should the 5 Yellow Earth Star make moves in 2027?
It's a year to prepare rather than make big moves. The north palace is where you grow what's inside, so time spent on learning and planning can become your base for the next time you move.
What if I was born before Risshun?
If you were born before Risshun (the start of spring, around Feb 4), read the star of the previous year. If your birthday is on or before February 3, look at the page for the star of the year before.
How should the 5 Yellow Earth Star spend a 9 Purple Fire Star year?
A 9 Purple Fire Star year tends to bring things into the light. In it, the 5 Yellow Earth Star enters the north palace, a position with less going on outside, where you work on preparing inside. Even if things around you are lively, you don't need to keep pace with them. Moving your preparation forward, even once a week, can help things gradually fall into place.
How Life Code reads the year
Life Code reads Nine Star Ki as the outer flow of the year and your Personal Year as your own inner theme, and layers the two. This is Life Code's own way of interpreting them, not the original definition of Nine Star Ki or numerology. Fortune reading does not decide your future, so use this as a rough guide for how to spend the year.
